I don't need to deny something that doesn't exist, denial is a turning away from reality, not sneering at fantasy others insist is reality.

Well, Butters, it's like this: It saddens people because they are afraid they will be convinced by logic that there is no God. That's why they cling to faith and that's why they would rather put their energy into convincing YOU that their beliefs are what you should believe--then you'll stop confusing them with facts!
My God sits in a comfy armchair and Tivo's everything. Fate runs the show allowing occasional free will on small matters to keep it interesting.

It seems the whole world searches for peace, hope, joy, love etc. The try to fill up the hole in their hearts with things, parties, destructive habits. They are alone within. It makes me sad for them because Our God created us, gave us a book and instructions on how to keep ourselves well and happy, spiritually, emotionally and physically. Best of all, with Him, we never have to feel the emptiness and loneliness that others who turn their back on Him experience. Even through hard times it is good to know we do not have to travel alone. Often these people wait until the end of their lives to experience the beauty of God in their lives and regret waiting so long to know Him. God bless you all...Mmm

Those of us who believe in Yahweh, Jehovah, Allah, God, or the Great Spirit are not saddened by your lack of belief...we know what you are missing out on. Some of you say that your logic will prove He doesn't exist...how do you prove that Darwin's Theory is more than a theory? You can't! Even Darwin realized before his death that his theory was impossible...too late the damage was done. He was laughed out of the science community before he died. Some of the things scientists ask us to believe take more faith than believeing that God made us. How do you know we weren't designed by superior life forms...
Sure wars are fought over faith and religion...but if you think about it...if you don't have hope that there is something better than this, why should you even bother living...all is vanity without Him in your life. You can win the whole world...riches, fame, honor...can you enjoy it when you are pushing up daisies? The hope that there is something better after this is what I am looking forward to. I am sad that you choose not to be there. We all are given the free will to choose. Choose life, choose God. Choose hopeless mortality, reject God. See...it is both logical, and simple.

Please read my words carefully:
If you see footmark in the sand, you'll say that someone passed from here...
If you see a piece of dog sh*t on the ground, you'll say that a dog passed from here...
So what about the enormous universe, the sky, stars, planets, earth and all the beauty in it, doesn't it lead to that someone made it?!!!
Some people say that everything is created by itself after the big-bang... I won't ask you about what caused the big-bang, but I'll ask you a simple question:
If you take all the letters of the alphabet, multiples of them, and you threw them randomly on the floor. Do you expect (by a chance of one in infinity) to get a poem like shakespear's??!!
Can't you see how organized our universe is, the planets, the eco-system on earth, look even in your own body... Can you control your heart-beat? Can you control your breath while you're sleeping? Who stopped your eye-lashes from growing after reaching a certain length? Who told the baby turtles to move towards the sea and not to the earth after they come out of their eggs? Who taught the bird how to make nests?
My friend, think with your heart and brain. If you're still lost, think about the following:
Do you know how to play safe?
Your point:
If there's no God and you do all what you want in life, then nothing will happen to you after life. But if there was God and you were mistaken, then you'll blame yourself FOREVER...
Believer's point:
If there's God and I followed His commands in life, then I'll be in Heaven after life FOREVER. But if there was no God and we're mistaken, then nothing bad will happen to us after life...
Now you know how to play-safe, in case you're not convinced?

If we are; if we deny him in these things before men, or are unwilling to express our attachment to him in every way possible, then it is right that he should disown all connexion with us, or deny us, before God. And he will do it.

It saddens me because I know the truth. If a person were drowning, would you not throw them a life line? Same thing.

It saddens me because God offers what we all search for in life! The simple fact to know we are Loved in are own way and are significant! 1 John 4:9-11. This is how God showed his love among us. He sent his one and only Son (Jesus) in the world that we might live though him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and send his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear Friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 1 Cor. 13:4-7 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Rom. 12:9-10. Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. ***Now won't you rather have a God that promotes all of that! Then to be of a world where you are always feel hopeless, without love and no one finds you of any value! I sure wouldn't! Be Blessed because God Does!

i quote andrew
''Have you ever wondered why God didn't want Adam to eat from the tree of knowledge? I have always wondered... and now I see that it is an outstanding allegory for life.
Adam had everything he could ever want in that garden, anything except the fruit from the tree of knowledge. But he was tempted by a woman to eat. Upon eating of the fruit, they realized they were naked. Then they were banished from paradise and sent to work the fields themselves, a hard life of toil and sweat. The life they lived was now in separation from God.
Belief in the omnipotent and omnipresent has many appealing characteristics. The possibilities seem endless, like ANYTHING could happen. You feel as though you could eat of any fruit you so desire to attain fulfillment, except in a tempting life of "sin" and knowledge. Upon growing up, one is endowed with a mind of his own. He/she begins to question, he/she begins to reason, he/she begins a journey to find the TRUTH. Upon feasting on this knowledge, I have come to the conclusion that this omnipotent/omnipresent being does not exist. I have been shed of my spiritual clothing. The knowledge of this has banished me from his comforting presence in my heart, which had given me hope and comfort as a child, with the understanding that he would help me and love me if I was good. Now that I face the reality of separation from the paradise of believing you can obtain the impossible. I am faced with reality. My life will now be in my own hands, which is a lot harder than just having it given to you, like in paradise. You must toil and sweat to make your own fate.
So why would God not want you to eat of the tree? Upon eating of the tree he no longer exists in your heart. Knowledge is Satan.
Faith, even in something that isn't there, is a comforting thing that most people need. Life is hard knowing what you see is what you get. However, I am strong and am glad my fate rests in my hands.''
