i dont understand this at all, a lot of the scientist and thinkers are jews, einstein, J. Robert Oppenheimer and etc.

Some hate the Jews because Jesus was crucified by Jews. And others because of the Palestinian issue with Israel. It is mainly due to ignorance.

Many studies shows Jews are genetically more intelligent than non-Jews on average and people are jealous of this. http://home.comcast.net/~neoeugenics/IQgenes.htm is one such article. Jews make up .5% of the population, but almost half of the nobel prize winners.
Some people are taught to hate the Jews ... for example Mel Gibson. His father taught him that the Holocaust was a myth and did not happen, so nobody should be surprised that he is anti-semetic. His father also taught him that the Jews killed Jesus, which the Vatican said was false in the 1970s.
Some people hate the Jews because of Israel. This is the holy land of many religions, and many people do not believe the Jews deserve this land, which was given to them for good by the Treaty of Versailles after World War II. Most of the Middle East Wars are because Arabs want this land. Many people link the September 11 attacks to our support of Israel.

People don't hate Jews...it is a misreaction to the reality that billions of American dollars are spent maintaing israel, as has been the case for the better half of the 20th century.
Within that time, Israel has influenced and continues to influence US gov't policies, which some people find interventionist.
It's a catch 22 on the US's part.

Not really sure.
A lot of people say it's because they get themselves into businesses that make them a profit at the expense of others, such as working with Gold, Silver, banking, etc.
Some says it's the "chosen people" arrogance.
I personally know a lot of JEwish people and they are quite nice.

Alot of people hate those who are different for no other reason than ignorance. Some are just evil people who hate the world. I try to stay clear of those type of folks.

i asked my mom this. she said it's because people like to hate. black people are 'hated' because of their color. the faith of christians was blasphemised by the 'da vinci code.' some old fashioned peole don't like gay people because, well, they're gay. discrimination of a particular race, culture, religion etc. usually starts from an idea formed by an idiot.

I dont know the answer to that....I guess some people are just too ignorant and idiotic.
I think Jewish people are awesome....and FUNNY! most comedians are jewish too, and I love them.
