Bring your dog in at night - either in the house or the garage.

First of all, contact local authorities to pick up the stray. She needs to be kept home while in heat and it is the owner's responsibility to neuter and spay their pet.

When you get a chance, neuter your boy. He will calm down a lot more.

Putting him inside may help because he will have less chance of smelling her.

If you know where she lives, tell authorities who pick her up, so the owner can learn to keep their dog home.

I hope it helps.
:)

Get him neutered, and call the local animal shelter about the stray girl dog! Don't let her possibly mate with another random male dog, to create more stray puppies.

Unless you are keeping him in tact for breeding purposes, you need to have him neutered.
At the moment though, you can go to a helath food store and get some "Melatonin" tablets and some "Rescue Remedy". You can use both these products together and it will help to calm him down. But be prepared for 21 days of this.
Can you call your local authorities and have the stray ***** picked up?

Call the SPCA and have them come pick her up. She should be in a shelter, not running around town in heat. That is just going to add to the pet population when she gets herself knocked up with a bunch of puppies she cannot afford to raise. =-(

For tonight give him a Benedryl allergy pill to help him sleep.
Tomorrow morning, have him neutered.
The SPCA and animal control have programs to help pay for it.
Good luck to you and your poor doggie.
~Never think this is not a serious problem. He is under an amazing amount of stress (the drive to mate is VERY strong) right now and it could harm his health.

my mom's chihuahua is in heat, and we have 3 boys all neutered and 1 girl spade, and the boys didn't whine, or anything like that.
It's more like she keeps throwing herself on them and then of the boys tries to hump her no luck though, a chihuahua trying to get a pittbull to hump her really doesn't work.

It is already cruel to confine your dog within your home and it is only natural for beast to release.
Let him go and he will enjoy it! Don't forget the contraceptives just in case if you do not wan unwanted pregnancy.
