How to layout labels for jars?

Ex: The circumference of a bottle is 10". How much overlap do I allow for glue? Is there a website out there that can help? Looking to buy bulk labels.

Most labels I see that wrap that far have 1/4" of overlap with bigger bottles having 1/2" The glue is usually applied to the can or bottle and is wider than the overlap.
