You're correct; the acne from your forehead can contaminate the pillow and spread the bacteria to other parts of your face that rub on it during sleep. I recommend that you wash/chage your pillow case frequently (every couple of days--maybe even buy several pillow cases, so you don't have to laundry too often), and use a facial cleanser before going to bed.
One of my favorites is St. Ives, you can get it at any drug store for around $4--they have different products, depending on your skin type.
Then, once you wake up, wash your face again to remove any excess oil that was built up during the night.
Do not overdo it when it comes to washing your face either
(stick to before, and after going to bed) b/c if you are constantly removing your skin's natural oil, the skin will start producing even more in order to compensate.
Another tip is to drink plenty of water, it does help clear up the skin.
Hope it helps!

By sleeping sideways there is no risk of having more Acne. Wash your face frequently & take Haematinic whoch have minimum 30mg of Zinc in it. Taka it twice daily. Don't apply any type of cream etc. You will definitly be cured.

I don't know as if it matters which way you face when you sleep, but one thing that may help would be to make sure you use your facial products right before you go to bed, and change your pillow cases more frequently. That way you're face isn't touching the same oils and body soil.

As long as you change your pillowcase every few days, it won't make your acne worse. Also use a soft headband or something to keep your hair off your face while you sleep.

You need to change your pillowcase every night. Then, you can sleep on it however you want. If it is clean, then the excess oil won't clog your pores. Seriously change it every night.

only in the unlikely (and kinda gross) scenario that your pillow is covered in face oils and greasy and stuff. Just wash your face and your pillow regularly to avoid stuff collecting there and you should be fine.
