How many mistakes in these sentences?

"Warmly welcome the experts and scholars at home and abroad. Thanks for your presence at our university and your precious opinions."

It is a banner and it is Chinglish. I want to know the correct way of saying this. My opinion is like this:
1. Since it is on a banner, capital letters should be used.
2. "The" is not necessary.
3. "Warmly" should be crossed out.
4. "at home"
5. "Thanks" sounds informal. It should be "Thank you".
6. "at our university" should be "to"
7. "Precious opinions" is Chinglish.
It is the translation of a Chinese sentence. If you think it is not worth correcting, please tell me what would you use in such circumstance.
I think it should be:
Welcome Experts and Scholars Domestic and Abroad to Our University for Inspection

I agree with most of your corrections, but I see two mistakes in your final sentence. "Inspection" is probably not the right English word for your purpose. I'm assuming they are coming to look at the university, but "inspection" is usually when something is being checked for problems. You might cross out "for inspection" and leave it like that. Also, add commas where you are addressing the experts and scholars: "Welcome, experts and scholars, domestic and abroad, to our University." "Abroad" should probably be changed to "foreign" also, because nobody would say "I'm an abroad scholar." Also, who are the "experts"? They probably have something else they should be called, like "professors" if that is what they are.

3/ warmly is fine..the subject is understood --'we'--the sentence would sound better if it were included..'we warmly welcome....'

6/..at our university is correct...'to' would not be correct
7/ Precious opinions sounds like a direct translation from putonghua..should be..'your valued opinions'

Thank you for your presence at our university(Could say' thank you for coming to our university') and thank you for your valued opinions.(You do not have to repeat the thank you...but it emphasizes that you are thanking for each action.)
