You will then become spiritual instead of religious, and stop idol worshipping - something that Jesus himself was against. There is only one God, and that God is everything and is what keeps you and me alive, healthy and happy.

They are both the same. There is God the Father,
God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Many
people have problems understanding the Holy
Trinity because we think in human terms. A human cannot have 2 other people living in his body.
But think of it this way- they are not human! They are Spirit. They have the power to be anywhere at any time. In fact, the farther you go away from earth, the less time becomes. It is only when we are on this earth that time moves at 24 hours to the day, etc.
Each person of the God-head has a separate
"job" if you will. The Almighty God is in Heaven,
has always been in heaven and deals with the
heavenly things--but He is always involved in
earthly things also. Jesus on the other hand, was
always in heaven, but volunteered to take on a
body and come to earth to be the sacrifice for
mankind, so that all humans could be reconciled
to God. You see, heaven is so Holy, that nothing
unholy can live there--and humans are born of
this earth, so a change has to take place and
Jesus made the way for that change.
Now, when Jesus left this earth, He said he
send us a "Comforter":. The Holy Spirit is with
us here on this earth at all times. And He is
available to have all power as pertains to
mankind. The problem is, most people don't
even know He exists, and certainly don't call on
Him. But He is always there. Talk to Him and
He will reveal himself to you.

God is The Savior, The Lord Jesus Christ. There is a thing called the Trinity which is God The Father, Jesus Christ His Son and The Holy Spirit as one, not separate.

Many people say that they accept Jesus as their lord and savior without knowing what that means. Accepting Jesus as my lord means that I will try my hardest to do what He said to do in the Gospels.

When Jesus was asked what the most important commandment is, He quoted from Deuteronomy. Jesus spoke in Hebrew and Aramaic and the quotation was in Hebrew.

In most Bibles what He said is translated into English except for God's name. God's name in Hebrew is spelled yod he vav he and was possibly pronounced Yahaveh. In most English translations of the Bible, the word LORD is substituted. This makes things very confusing for the average reader who does't know this.

The scripture Jesus quoted, is, "Thou shall love Yahaveh, your God with all your heart and all your mind and all your strength." Jesus's real name is Yashua, which means either; Yahaveh Savior or Yahaveh"s Savior.

Most Christians (I am a Christian) believe in the Trinity, or the Godhead of 3 persons. They say that this explains how there is one God in 3 persons, which are God the Father, God the Son Jesus), and the Holy Spirit.

None of this answers your question but I hope it may help help you understand the question better. To be honest, I think that only God knows the answer to your question, but if you truly accept God as your lord and savior you will obey His commandments in the Old Testament and Jesus teachings in the New Testament. If you do that and ask God for guidance and understanding, it's hard for me to see how you can go wrong.

The bible doesnt talk about a trinity, in fact it explicitly talks against it . The bible call Jesus God many times (1Tim 3:16)(Mat 1:23) etc. Jesus calle himself the Allmighty, first and the last . 3 beings cant all be allmightys . God sayd several times throughout the bible that he is alone, that their is no other God beside him . The name of God is Jesus . Father isnt a name , the holy spirit went over Mary and she bore a child. Why isnt the holy spirit the father, if they are not the same being . the Son is a manifestation (to make visible) of God , like when he was a bush, a cloud , or a dove.

You would have to denie the Trinity then. Father, Son and Holy Ghost. 3 in 1 yet separate jobs. Working together. John 6: 37,38 All that the Father giveth me and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. Jesus came that the word would be manifested. He is life to the word of God. Then in and on through this chapter you will find where Jesus confirms again: John 14: 1, Let not your heart be troubled ye believe in God believe also in me. 2, For in my Father's house are many mansions if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3, And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and recieve you unto myself that where I am there ye may be also. 4, and whither I go you know and the way ye know. Then 13, And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name that I will do that the Father be glorified in the Son. Then John 6: 44 No man come to me, except the Father which is sent me draw him and I will raise him up at the last day. The Holy Spirit draws us by the Father's calling to his Son Jesus. All we have to do is have faith repent and recieve. Jesus did the hard part. If he had decided I think I'll just hang around down here instead of going to the Father then the Spirit of God couldn't be sent to live in us. There's alot of God names out there but one true God is the one whom Jesus is his Son borne of a virgin Mary throught the Holy Ghost. And sits at his right side. And is returning for his children. The same Holy Spirit that can live in us. You can't have one without the other. And you wouldn't want to! GOD BLESS YOU, LITTLE DEBBIE

Jesus is the only way to get to God, and since Jesus is God the Son, the second person of the Trinity, you can't get to the Father except through the Son. But if you reject Jesus as your only way to get to God (1 Timothy 2:5), then you're pretty much out of luck, because there's no other way to get to the Father.

Why do you ask this?

If you accept God as your Lord and savior, that means you accept Jesus too, because they are one, the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit. as it say's in the bible John 3:16 For God so love the world that he gave his only begotten son, that who will ever believe in him should perish but would have an everlasting life.

I feel there is no difference
Jesus through teachings is supposed to be God, so in that respect you accept Jesus by accepting God. AS to what happens if you do nobody knows really. To me accepting any religious view point whole hearted is a very personal matter and if you choose to direct your acceptance towards the intangible idea of God in heaven then that is your right. To some it may seem a bit more mystical to worship an idea, something without all these visual representations already attached to it, such as Jesus. As long as you accept the idea of God and truly believe in his/her divinity then I doubt the technicalities matter.

i am so blessed for you had glorified the Lord by accepting God in your heart. And He will be patient for you to accept Jesus too. But it is written in the scripture, please read....i wish you'll find your way.....

1 John 2:23

Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

John 14:6-7

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

God loves you!!!!

When you die and are standing on the road outside Heaven, be prepared to jump the fence and sneak past Jesus before he sees you and get to Dad as quick as you can ... and pray Dad isn't eating oatmeal and prunes, sitting on the "throne ... if you know what I mean" or taking a nap, cuz if bearded boy sees you first ... St. Peter will have no choice but boot your sorry behind all the way to H E double hockey sticks. Or you could avoid all that by telling them to seat you in the Jewish section provided you are willing to fake feeling guilty about something for the rest of eternity!

**Just as plausible as any other crackpot theory**

By the way: I applaud your faith. Whatever it is.
