Wow, if it could only be so easy for other non-believers. I'm touched by the fact that God easily turned your heart around. Recently, on New Years Eve as a matter of fact, I was coming home from work around midnight and I was in an unfamiliar town. I had stopped to get coffee and was heading back out onto the interstate. I had not seen a speed limit sign and I was just cruising along heading for the on ramp. As I crossed over the overpass I spotted an officer sitting right on top. I was the only person in sight and knew he had been clocking me. I was in a hurry to get home to be with hubby for the new year. (I'm a Christian, not a saint ; )~ ) Anyhow, turns out I was speeding. The officer took my license and went back to his car. After a few moments he came back and handed it back to me and said, "slow down a little, and be safe. The Good Lord is watching over you." With that he walked back to his car and that was it. I barely got a chance to look at him. I could swear to this day that it was a reminder from God how much He loves me. This man did look angellic at the time and the experience was almost surreal. Thanks for sharing your story and also for letting me share mine. Many blessing sent your way!!!

I think that this person touched your heart that may have been a bit hardened, as we all can become from time to time. Isn't it wonderful to think that someone in such dire circumstances could be used by God to give YOU such a wonderful touch of the Master's Heart? I think you received a great blessing today, Dear friend, and continue to pass it along! Use it to get closer to Jesus and to touch someone else with the Love of God!
Richest Blessings to you!
xx

That is without a doubt, the most beautiful thing I have read on Y/A. Thank you so much for sharing that. I will pray for you and that homeless man, whoever he is. God used him to change your heart. He may not even know what he did for your but I believe he will be rewarded for that. And now my friend, you know the value of a peaceful smile and hope that shows on ones face. It's now your turn to pass the gift on. Someone else will be blessed because of you. That how God works. His love spreads from one to another and to another, and often we're not even aware of it . God Bless you always.

Our days are full of such events, if we would just pay attention. You may have had an Angelic visitation. They can affect you without a word spoken. God probably has a special plan for you. Be open minded and follow your heart. Lucky you. Keep us posted.

i quote andrew
''Have you ever wondered why God didn't want Adam to eat from the tree of knowledge? I have always wondered... and now I see that it is an outstanding allegory for life.
Adam had everything he could ever want in that garden, anything except the fruit from the tree of knowledge. But he was tempted by a woman to eat. Upon eating of the fruit, they realized they were naked. Then they were banished from paradise and sent to work the fields themselves, a hard life of toil and sweat. The life they lived was now in separation from God.
Belief in the omnipotent and omnipresent has many appealing characteristics. The possibilities seem endless, like ANYTHING could happen. You feel as though you could eat of any fruit you so desire to attain fulfillment, except in a tempting life of "sin" and knowledge. Upon growing up, one is endowed with a mind of his own. He/she begins to question, he/she begins to reason, he/she begins a journey to find the TRUTH. Upon feasting on this knowledge, I have come to the conclusion that this omnipotent/omnipresent being does not exist. I have been shed of my spiritual clothing. The knowledge of this has banished me from his comforting presence in my heart, which had given me hope and comfort as a child, with the understanding that he would help me and love me if I was good. Now that I face the reality of separation from the paradise of believing you can obtain the impossible. I am faced with reality. My life will now be in my own hands, which is a lot harder than just having it given to you, like in paradise. You must toil and sweat to make your own fate.
So why would God not want you to eat of the tree? Upon eating of the tree he no longer exists in your heart. Knowledge is Satan.
Faith, even in something that isn't there, is a comforting thing that most people need. Life is hard knowing what you see is what you get. However, I am strong and am glad my fate rests in my hands.''

I think that you experienced someone having the peace and joy of Jesus.
I have had so many tell me that if I would find Jesus everything would be okay. I never knew what that meant until I accepted Christ as my saviour. It didn't mean that I would have an easy time in life, it meant that I would have that same peace and joy that the person you saw today have.
I hope you contine to welcome God back in your life, and find the same.
blessings to you, vicki

According to Ecc. 12:6 - 7, we will However, in John 3:13, Jesus said that: And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, [even] the Son of man which is in heaven does this mean both body and spirit? What does this say about the significance of the resurrection (our resurrection?) I think the Kingdom of God and K of Heaven are the same, but some disagree, saying that the K of God was for the Jews, they rejected it, and the K of Heaven was opened to all mankind through Christ. dunno

Mat 25:42-43 For I was hungry and you didn't feed me. I was thirsty, and you didn't give me anything to drink. I was a stranger, and you didn't invite me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me no clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn't visit me.
What you saw was the face of Jesus in this homeless person. Jesus wants us to express our love to him by reaching out and serving others. The Holy Spirit spoke to your heart today.
Blessings

i was having a sort of "crisis of faith" a few months ago. the day my mom was having a brain tumor removed (thats not why i was having a crisis), i was sitting in the waiting room and i started to pray. right in the middle of my prayer, the buzzer families get when updates are available for their family members went off, and i went back with my dad, and the preacher from my uncle's church was waiting there. we had a group prayer with the rest of my family, and when i went back to the bench to lay down, i just started laughing to myself. i said to God "thats too funny, thanks." the surgery went fine and my mom recovered very well.
