Which is easier to learn? Both Arabic and Chinese have a different alphabet and a different format for writing, so which would be easier to learn? Also, in terms of applications, which language has more opportunities for use in the world? Thanks.

Arabic is a lot easier to learn how to write. Pronunciation for English speakers can be tough, but English speakers also find Chinese pronunciation to be difficult. Chinese is a tonal language, so the pitch/tone changes the meaning of words. Chinese has about 4,000 characters that you should memorize in order to read most materials.

It depends on the type of career that you want, but BOTH Chinese and Arabic are extremely useful, and they are both becoming more crucial to learn. In politics, economics, business, etc. these two languages are indespensable!

Arabic is easier, but both are useful.

Arabic is a lot easier to learn than Chinese. Both have great opporitunities for use in thew world. I would choose Arabic simply because of current world events.

Both important and useful languages, but I think Arabic is easier (am studying it now but don't think I'd ever be able to master Chinese).

I would say Chinese Mandarin is easier. If you want to study it, I would recommend you a website which is teaching Chinese live online, but both register and tuition are for free.

Arabic is easier.
Because to learn Chinese fluently, you would need to learn about 4000+ Chinese characters/kanji.

It depends,
Arabic is easy but gramatically its hard, because Arabic language you have to differenciate the words like she /he if there is a she in a sentence the whole grammer will change.

And other thing you have to know how to talk it, because you have to use your tongue for hard letters such as (Gh, Kh, Th... a lot more) Good luck
