How can I find a descent girl who I can actually talk to?

I always see these regeton, rap, and hip hop girls that all they think about is sex. Everything is sexual. Todays girls are crazy and is impssible to get a true girlfriend. To me they all seem brainwashed with stupid thug music, and hormone arausing music. I dont see nothing wrong with some sensual loving here and there but come on, theres so much one can take. Are there any good girls out there? Im alright looking but is a guys appearance all that matters to a girl? It sucks not being able to talk to someone seriously. Im 18 and im giving up on dating. Some people say its my staight foward personality that is wrong with me but i dont know. Where is that parent respecting chick who would introduce me to her parents and show me new things?

You didn't offend me, it's refreshing to see a guy after something deeper than sex with mindless tarts. You sound very genuine and sweet - and there is nothing wrong with a straightforward personality. It's a virtue that not enough people have in this world, nobody says anything genuine anymore it's all superficial b.s.
You might find it's just the age you're at, a lot of girls are still really immature at that age (I'm 20 and have grown up a lot since I was 18, it's only 2 years but it makes a difference). Or maybe it's the area you live in or something - are you going to college? You might find you meet some more intelligent girls there that are into the same things you are. Just be patient, someone special will come along. I hope you find who you're looking for : )

Get a job, get a car, get an apartment.

Let a few years pass, by age 21 or 22, you will meet lots of girls, who will not be picky teenagers who do not yet understand the world. If you have a job, and an apartment and car, you will be light years ahead of the rest of your peers that do not have all three. Women will be asking to move in, for real.

Oh yeah, the world, animals, people included, is based on sex, or the race doesn't survive. Get a clue.

Figure like as if you were a bird, or some other animal. What females look for is an attractive (which generally includes healthy), reliable mate that she can build a nest with, and have children. Not all, okay sure, not all, but subconscious drives are utterly powerful. Not so attractive in not all that bad, as long as you got employment, and a place to stay that is not your parents' house.

I used to know these guys in high school, whiners, whining about how they couldn't get a girl to look at them, "All they want is a guy with a car, and money!" Whine, whine. No girls wanted them. The girls would date any guy with a car.

Yeah, man, for real, that's what most are looking for, once they wake up out of schoolgirl dreamland, and the harsh reality that their parents are not gonna support them their whole life kicks in. Then they generally either shack up with other girls or look for a husband.

The not so careful ones get pregnant young, their guy abandons them, and she tries and fails to raise her kids on her own. Most guys will not touch a girl with kids already, unless he's really a cool guy, she's nice, and tries, and the kids are not too unruly.

So be a breadwinner, make your way in the world and in a few years, women will be after you. Yeah, it's because you have a car, and money. So what? You wanted girls, you'll have 'em. That's the way the world works. Oh yeah, if you got big muscles, it helps, too, as long as you are not into "All I do is build my muscles." Women want you looking at them, not at your muscles.

Again, it's evolution, commands women to chase success, to who her subconscious feels will provide a lifelong mate, with the best chance to raise children to adulthood. In general. Good luck.

If you are still hung up on sex in a few years, get some counseling, after you solve the job, car apartment problem.

U know that is kind of funny because all girls say the same thing. Is there and good guys out there? The thing is not to look for a good non crazy girl out there because that is like looking for a needle in a hey sack. Just be yourself and believe in the girls that u talk to. U will find a descent girl out there.

lol and I thought there were no guys left who appreciated "good girls" who don't necessarily like rap, hip hop etc and who have morals regarding sex. If you are who you seem to be by your question then you sound perfectly good to me. Looks are definitely secondary for me. Personality is definitely more what I look for because that's what matters. I've said it many times but it's very true: I'd choose a mediocre looking guy with a good personality over a stud who had a bad personality and just wasn't good for me any day.

Where are you looking? If you look in the wrong places, you won't find the right people.

Ages 16-21 can be a fairly uncertain time of life. Many questions, few good answers. Once you get to 21, much of this chaos settles down a bit. You will be all right. Just be yourself.

All I can say is you have my respect for figuring out the bullshit that goes on at such a young age. Screw anyone who says there's a problem with being straight forward and honest. Just keep being who you are and keep that head on straight, like it sounds like it is and something will find you. For now, I say take care of yourself and no matter what the circumstance, never force a relationship.

it is really hard to find a decent girl out there. but i think it is as equally hard to find a decent guy. the way people and personalities and life is displayed in the media nowadays makes it impossible to be modest or anything close to it, because who else is doing it? sex and not caring about how we feel or what we become seems to be the theme. "live in the moment"is what the world is screaming at us. i disagree, and dont follow that idea. but it is sad to see my fellow men fall to that facade. it only makes you unhappy.

You need to go places where there are good girls. Go to church, social events at school or college that have intellectual or religious based themes to them.
