I think if that was possible, then the men should become the women the moment that woman went into labor. He could see how much she goes through to bear his children, feel the pain of recovery, the discomfort of nursing on demand, and the annoyance of bleeding for 6 weeks. I think they would be more caring for the mothers of their children, wouldn't want baby after baby, and help her more realizing what she is going through. That's the best time for a man to be a woman, because that's the most extreme time of a woman's life. It's very self affirming, too, and very rewarding. The smile of the baby, the look that it gives only to its mother. The way it holds her finger when either feeding or going to sleep. He would see that this little person thinks she's so great, and would appreciate her more for that and everything else she does as well.

It would depend on which week. How about the week that a woman was about to deliver a child? How about the week that she stayed up most of the night for a few days with a sick child? How about the week that she organized an activity for senior citizens? How about the week that she had feminine problems that drove her up the wall? How about the week that someone physically assaulted her, or treated them as less than human? Or the week that her grown child died in a war, or some other way? Guess we would need more specifics. My guess is men would become a lot quieter and wait before saying something demeaning about women. They might figure out war is a terrible thing, because childbirth is no picnic. They might even do something to get rid of pornography altogether.

If men could walk in women's shoes, then abortion would become a sacrament...
