I live in the south, have been divorced 16 years, have twins in college, I love animals, and I am a loner, but, when my kids went to college, I find now, I love my animals, but, I'm lonely, and can't find one decent guy to date, and/or bypass if asked...how do I get to someone that is worth having, smart, loving, romantic, and has goals in life..? I'm not that picky, but, havn't been on a date in over 2 years, and want too, and tried the match ect...with no luck...I've modeled, so I know it's not my looks, I'm a good person and volunteer, have a good job, great kids, not picky, but, it seems like guys are intimidated by me...where do I find that special somone? Am I destined to be by myself the rest of my life...16 years is a long time not to have been married again..and now I want it, but, I'm not willing to just settle...any guy out there in their 40's or such, I'm 43, like me?...I know there has to be someone who wants someone good, loving, kind, and loves animals/pets...

Hello I do not know who you are. But I would be interested in talking to you. I feel just like the way you sound. I am 47 year's old. And I have'nt been on a date in 3 year's. I'm not bad looking either. I love my pet's and Iam from the south. I think about the rest of my life too. I have'nt joined Yahoo single's yet. I've just been brousing. My guess is no. You're not the only one. Having said that, I think it's time for you to force yourself to be a bit more aggressive. You will thank yourself later. You gotta take some risks.
