Exposure to the stimulus that makes you anxious, then reflection on the feelings you had after it. Most phobias are irrational and that is the point of exposure therapy mixed with rationale-emotive therapy.

I would go see an anxiety specialist. They help a lot of people.

First of all, phobia means fear so you can't fix a fear with medication. You can only get rid of fear by training your mind to realize that the thing you are afraid of is just that, a thing you are afraid of. It's not an illness needing meds. You can face your fear and just force yourself to deal with it, you can see a hypnotis, or you can let your fear control you.

Try self hypnosis. You can buy CDs or download MP3s off the internet. What you are basically doing is replacing faulty programming in your head with more reasonable thoughts. Best of luck.
