This discussion would not be taking place and there would be no one like Thumper making the same Satanic argument that was made to Eve: That she did not need God making decisions as to what is good and bad and that God was really holding back something good from her. His tactics have not changed. He seeks to plant doubt in our minds and deceive us into thinking that we are better off without God. How sad that it still works on people like Thumper who then become tools in the hand of Satan to mislead others.

And yes the earth would have become filled with a righteous human family. God commanded them to "be fruitful and fill the earth" and created them in a way that made this possible and pleasurable. The bounds of paradise would have spread out from the Garden of Eden to the whole earth. God's will did not change because of these rebels. Right after the rebellion he began to put things right again (Genesis 3:15) The primary part of the seed of God's woman or heavenly organization Jesus Christ, was "bruised" in the heel when he suffered and died to redeem mankind from sin and death. He will, in due time "bruise Satan in the head, a fatal blow. All of Satan's "seed" will be destroyed also. Then those who have put faith in Christs ransom sacrifice will now be free to live in peace and happiness without the constant struggle because of the "enmity" between God's seed and Satan's. The earth will become what God willed for it from the start: A paradise filled with righteous humans.(Psalms 37:10,11; Isaiah 45:18; Matthew 5:5; Revelation 21:3)

It doesn't really matter. The religious truth behind the Adam and Eve story is that humans sin and are sinful by nature (not saying humans are bad or anything) because of our misuse of our free will. It doesn't matter if was Adam and Eve, it would have happened to anybody.

Peace

As telle said, there would be no death. But on the converse side of that, there would be no birth. People fail to realize that no reproduction could happen from two innocent people of mind and body. They had no concept of it. If you notice, children aren't mentioned until after they left the garden. Had they been able to have children why wouldn't they have had them in the garden? They couldn't, they had no concept of it.

Is it possible that they needed to eat of the tree to learn what good and evil are? Sure they were punished for not obeying God's commands, but he also said that the choice was theirs. He in his Eternal wisdom gave them the ability to choose. They choose what He knew they would. And He in his love sent us his son to redeem us from the effects of the fall. To save us from both death and sin. So in essence Adam and Eve did what they did so that we could be born and experience joy. Christ came down so that we could overcome the effects of sin and death, both being subject to us when Adam and Eve fell.

It is hard to answer, as God had the plan, and alternate plan, if needed, lol. But, I believe it would have gone on as it was, a perfect world, with perfect relationships, including one with the God of the universe. Remember, they walked and talked with God daily! They were just really enjoying life, and just beginning the adventure. We don't really know much beyond that, other than there would have been no death, or pain in childbearing, or hard toiling on the earth to make a living. It was, just like the book, "paradise lost....".

Well it's pretty obvious that God was just looking for any excuse to throw Adam & Eve to the wolves. If it wasn't the tree of knowledge it'd have been picking the wrong flowers or jay walking.

No one would die . Which by the way is soon coming, believe it or not we're are close to correcting Adams and Eve's sin. We're are Adam and Eve, we bits and piece of them, their flesh.

Moronic religious concept number 753. A loving fair, compassionate god who punishes people for what their descendants did. What would we think of a dictator whose policy it was for the children of a convicted felon to finish serving his sentence if he died in jail? This is a god worthy of worship? Think, people, think.
