Just to be there for me when I need him, whether it is for emotional needs or physical. To talk to me as a trusted and loved friend! To whisk me away to a sweet, little motel that caters to every (almost)whim we may have! To offer to do anything, I mean , ANYTHING I ask him to do with no arguements! Or hestitation! That includes the dishes or getting kinky in bed!To want to spend more time with our grandaughter!!! Before she's grown and doesn't want to spend time w/ us!OK that's not romantic, actually most of these are not but hey been married for 27 years what can I say??

1. Surprise me by holding my hand unexpectedly
2. Get me a thoughtful gift
3. take me on a trip to the mountains. For some reason, cold weather is romantic
4. Be protective. Especially with his guy friends. I think that's a cool thing to do.

1. colorful flowers (something creative and original, not roses)
2. giving her something of yours that means something to you (nothing expensive, just something sweet--like a hat or hoodie, your lucky penny, whatever)
3. writing a love letter or poem
4. finding lyrics to a song that is meaningful and printing them up for her
5. making her a mixtape
6. showing genuine joy being with that girl
7. eagerness to introduce your girl to everyone you know
8. taking pictures of the two of you together kissing/goofing off together and framing it for your desk
9. baking (a cheesecake would be nice...)

Give me massages/back tickles without me having to ask, take me out on spontaneous dates sometimes, tell me how sexy/beautiful I am to him, occasionally give unexpected THOUGHTFUL gifts, talk to me about personal things instead of sport or work or something... and for god's sake let me say 'no' to sex without making me feel guilty once in a while!
