If one of you doesn't make a move, the other may eventually think the other isn't REALLY interested and get discouraged and move on. The sooner you start seeing each other the sooner you will know whether or not you will be compatible.

When I was in high school I was in the same situation, as I got older it got a lot easier :P because being with guys has become a common thing. The only way to fix your problem is to be brave and tell him, most people will probably say tell him to his face and be honest but I never saw any harm in a note ;) it involves less confrontation .. good luck!

Ya never know, maybe he is waiting a response from you. You can always do the ole note thing...and see what happens. Apparently you both like each other, so someone has to break the ice so go for it!! What's the worst that can happen??? Good Luck!!! YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!

gosh i'm going through the same thing. just talk to him. you guys flirt and like each other. so what if you're shy! if all the scary stuff is out of the way, what's stopping you. you don't need to ask him out but just give him the hint that you really like him and it's okay if he asks you out. its okay to put yourself out there and go for it as hard as that sounds.
if you can't talk to him yourself, you can always tell one of your friends to pass it on to one of his to pass it on to him. its not as direct or reliable but at least it get the point across.

If you cannot say anything, you can have a friend speak for you. Just make sure that he knows that it is you that is interested.

Long ago I had the same problem and he had a friend ask me if I liked him. I thought that his friend was making a bad joke on me and walked away.

I still regret not saying anything to him myself. Who knows were it would of lead.

It will go on until one of you gets the courage up to talk to the other or one or both of you gets a crush on someone else.
