Harddrive gave up ghost. My WINDVD program was on there. Do have one on a cd anymore. Tried to download from net but it is only trial versions for two weeks or a month. Does anyone know where I can download somthing similar for free. It is a program to watch DVD's on CD/RW that can read DVD.

Windows Media Player 11 now has a built in DVD decoder, so you no longer need to buy a third party program like PowerDVD or WinDVD, just update WMP.

Hey is power DVD free? I paid some $40 for a download of WinDVD and I like it, but of course if it were free, it would be even better.
