hello!!
the question is good.caste resrevations are still prevails because our government wants to keep the backward classic people employed.. but this is not correct because if govt. reserve 50% employments are reserved for backward clqasses than many able general caste people remain unemployed. so there is only a way that our govt. should give the jobs according to the ability not to the caste.
thank you

Reservations were started to uplift those sections of the society who have been opressed for ages. This was a very wise step at that point of time as it was more than necessary to build the social gaps prevailing in the society. But, unfortunately, the basic purpose of reservations has been defeated as the facility is being abused and misused to get undue advantage from the society at the cost of other more deserving people. In the current socio-political scenario, the caste-based reservation system has lost its purpose and is being cornered by a very few people and some of them remained, more or less, at the same level where they were a few decades ago. While it would be advisable to make the economic and living conditions for providing reservations, it would be very apt to include the current economic status together with the caste to provide reservations. Unfortunately, in our country, it is much easier said than done. If such a combined criterion can be brought in for providing reservation, only then can the truly deserved populace of the society will be benefitted. Doing so, may be after a few years, we will have such a society that our forefathers when framing the constitution of India dreamt of having.

Caste Based Reservation is not at all correct. I am the one who suffered from this. The reason the government has for this is that they want to give encouragement to the lower caste people who are not yet given a chance to come up. the thought well is quite good but the way of implementing is wrong. education is totally a subject of ones intelligence, hard work. it has nothing to do with caste. Then why a 80% student of open category does,nt get a seat whereas a 60% student gets in medical. have you ever thought of the type of Doctor a 60% student be and the type of doctor a 80% student could be if he would have got the seat. I would like to suggest you that instead of encouraging them by giving caste reservation why not help them economically the difference could be kept on the fee for them and for open category. the government could also provide free coaching for them. kindly look onto my suggestion and implement it for a better India

Caste Based Reservations stil prevails because the county wants to bring the RICH and the POOR in an EQUAL level. by this the rich will not become richer or poor won't become poorer.
i do know that sc,st & obc get more oppertunities but this is the actul fact.We too understand that if a SC gets 45% and orthers get 95% still the SC gets your seat so don't feel bad as everything happenes for a cause.

NO for the continuation of the reservation policy based on the caste. The one lacking for the people / students is the non-effordability. That is becasue of poor economical background, they could not efford for the education and other facilities extended by the government. So the need is to provide all the facilities which they cannot efford at FREE so that they can get the chance of learning throguh education. Provide for the students all the facilities based on the economic condition irrespective of the caste so that all will be in the race to get empowered maintaing the required quality. In all the developing countries the evil is the poverty which is irrespective of the CASTE. So provide and formulate all the policies based on the economy and not based on the caste. This also helps to reduce the social conflict which is very common at all the educational places and in the civil society.

Hello sir,
There are two sides of this reservation still just like a coin.
1. If we go little deeper to the matter of caste before thirty years it was that stage that lower class people didnot have so much of money to make their children study to the high level or the low caste people could not afford the luxurious life that had been held by the rich people so at that time the people of low caste can enjoy this luxuries with this kind of rules. Also,so far it is good for the poor people now and ever till there is life.
2.As I mentioned in my above point this reservation is good only for poor people who cannot afford the luxury due to money problems but the people who have money and are taking the wrong use of this reservation than whaat should we do?
I will give One example.
One boy Manoj from the high caste who is from middle class has studied andgot about good marks in entrance exam according to his capability.
At the same time one boy Ramesh from rich family but low caste has aslso written the exam and just passedby second class.
Now the college where Manoj and Ramesh have given the applications is same and there is only one seat that of caste reservation and ramesh gets the admisssion so what has happened is the full effort of Manoj is gone vain due to this caste reservation.
So, Sir my request is that reservation must be according to the income earned by the family head and the capable student or person must be given the quotas available to them.

According to The Geeta, Lord Krishna said Brahmin, Kshtria, Vaishya & Shudra based on work. Now we have made it as cast and given our so called politician a chance to play with our castism, childrens of a District Magistrate, Judge, Director, Minister Govt Officers who are already from SC/ST/OBC etc are already become previlaged child and can do and mange their own finance. Why these people are coming in between to make obstacle for really poor child, thoes are staying in remote Village, where there is no education infrastructure, According to me The protection should be given on the basis of economically poor students that too up to School level. In colleges like Engineering IIT,IIM, NIT where Govt is producing best student of the country, if we give reservation that will effect our Buniyad, and increase corruption. As long as we do not correct our Education system free for all at least up class 10 - 12 garde with moral values, we can not make right nation. Yes we have to help Poor people who are really Financially backward, and not on Cast basis. We call ourself the oldest Civilisation in the world, and our President is planning to make India on the top on all aspect in 2020. How we can still have castism and allow politician give permission to play with human being. We must ask ourself that are we doing justice to all by giving reservation on a perticular cast, If yur answer is yes than go ahead.
