How do you record music on the RAZR V3c and set it as a ring tone?

My friend says you have to use bluetooth?

I think so, I have a razor and I tried doing that too w/out bluetooth and it doesn't work. I know you can record sound and use that as a ringer, but I don't know about the other, you can always download the song you want and use it, but that costs money which you probably knew that. Good Luck!

from the main screen you want to click on menu. go to the get it now tab (it's the one with an arrow pointing at something of which I don't have a clue what it's pointing at). from there, you should click on the first option (Get Tunes & Tones). At this point you are almost there. Go down to option number 4 (record new). You should now see a screen that says, "Press OK to start recording". I am actually using a razr v3m, but my sister owns a v3c and they are very similar (they are in the same family after all). Let me know if this doesn't work and I'll see what I can do for you. shua

ok well this is how i do it, you just go to your local cell phone shop or electrical shop and ask if they have the motorola phone kit cd, then you would have to buy the cd for about $50, and you would just install it on your pc and copy songs on your phone and movies.The good thing about this cd is that you might have 2 pay the $50 but it works on any motorola phone, and u also get a usb wire with.
