Women like men to give them roses. Aphids damage roses. Ladybugs eat aphids. Hence, ladybugs help increase the size of the human population.

To gobble up the ZILLIONS of aphids that would otherwise wipe out many of our green leafy vegetables. -What's that you say?- You "don't eat" such things? lady bugs is a symbol of good luck as well a a very important job they do, they eat the aphids that attack our trees lemon,orange,amapolas,roses and so on they have a purpose in life

I don't know, but I was laying down once, one crawled on my hand and started eating the dry/dead skin off of me.
