People have different ideas of what that god is. That, and some religions believe in many gods.

Yes, it is fuel for hate. The Bible says that he is coming back for the church. It doesn't say the Church of God, Pentecostal, etc. For the most part, each religion has taken 1 little section of the Word and built a religion around it. For instance, the Pentecostals are primarily based on the Upper Room experience in the book of Acts. That is great. I believe it too. But we have to believe it in its entirety to ever be the true "body of Christ." Too much separation. We're supposed to be working together towards the same ultimate goal.

The problem with your question is that you said "when there is supposed to be only one god?" which makes it sound like you believe there is one god. Which in turn makes it sound like you are stating that anyone who doesn't believe in one god, your god, is heathenistic and following the wrong path. The problem with all of this is that. I don't believe in what you do. John doe next door might not even realise your god exists.
Different beliefs, different religions. No belief in ... monotheism? and thus a set of beliefs that is definately different.
Remember. You might call others heathens, but others call you a heathen.

Because it is tampered with by man, period...And yes, look at Iraq and us... Very different , and very hateful...I also believe that religious zealots need to back off..and take a look at what they are doing to the world with their beliefs... It raises fuel for hate.. When you look at our avatars a lot of religious nuts have their angry face on... Yeah, that makes me hurry to the church!!!!! Get it?

YOU HAVE TO STUDY DIFFERENT RELIGIONS TO HAVE A BROAD UNDERSTANDING ABOUT GOD.IN THE END YOU WILL KNOW THAT ALL RELIGION PROJECT GOD AS TRUTH.
