I want to paint an old oven but I'm concerned that the paint will bubble off or I won't be able to clean it well.

Appliance spray paint! Available at most hardware stores

go to a hardware store and get 'appliance 'paint or stove paint...it probably has a special name but it will say on the container that it is for high temp.use...we use it on our wood burning stove so it takes high heat...

Use epoxy based paint. It will not wear off and it will hold up to heat.
