All you can do is let him know you are interested... Nothing will happen if you down play yourself. You need to remember that not everyone is shallow. If a guy won't give you a chance because you don't have the right clothes, or you are over weight, or don't have a clear face... (what ever the case may be), he is not worth worrying about. You say he likes your personality. Just approach him and ask if he would like to go do something with you.

never tell yourself u are not pretty cos every man has a taste u are just deucing your self-esteem ok say am preety,cute ,beautiful walk up to him and tell him he will be so shocked and be like hey cutie then u will be shocked
