There are many different types of child sexual abuse, but the legal terminology may differ from area to area as far as what is technically considered "molestation."

It depends on what is done to the child. You're in a law enforcement area now and under the general rule, if a child has been touched in the genital area it can be molestation and sexual abuse, because they didn't have the majority to give consent.

Legal terminology varies from state to state. I used to supervise a parole office in Illinois where the majority of our clients were Sex Offenders on house arrest or GPS tracking
.
In Illinois, there is no such thing as a crime called molestation. The charge for that would be Criminal Sexual Abuse or Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse. In general, yes, they mean the same thing. Criminal Sexual Assault, Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault, or Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault would be rape and/or the rape of a child (the difference between assault and abuse is that assault includes sexual penetration).

i imagine sexual attack is once you're raped (penetrated). might want to properly be by an merchandise also. might want to also contain oral sex it truly is compelled. Molestation is touching sexual and private factors or forcing you to do a akin to them. might want to also contain compelled kissing. Indecency with a baby is per chance some thing like masturbating in the front of a youngster or flashing and showing bare body to toddler. There are quite a few regulation internet-internet sites that would want to have the precise solutions.

molestation in general not just a child is touching, when the other person does not want it at all, sexual abuse it full blown forced intercourse... Both of them are horrible and only someone mentally ill would participate in either of them. it leaves trauma... and a few of my closest friends growing up had both of them... one of them was also a product of rape....

incest is sexual intercourse between persons so closely related that they are forbidden by law to marry; therefore, incest is not entirely the same as molestation or child sexual abuse

Why are you asking? There is perhaps a difference in a legal sense in terms of the degree of violation but in a moral and psychological sense, in fact in every other way they are the same thing.
