This girl and I have dated in the past. We were a couple for about 8 months and then we had a falling out. After three months of seperation, she and I began hanging out again. We ingaged in intimate actions right away. However, she said she does not want a boy friend. In fact, she said she wanted to be friends first and see how things go. We have been seeing each other for about 2 weeks now. Some days she says she loves me and is all over me. On the other hand, other days she seems like she is not inteested in me in a boy friend type of way. I love her deeply. I understand and agree that we should become better friends before we date. However, this back and forth emotions really confuse and at times depress me. When ever i talk to her abot this, she gets upset. Am I missing some thing. I feel like a fool because most men would just be happy they are getting "laid". She says she loves me, but does she? I want to think she does, but I do not know.

Ok, buddy I have your answer. On the days she loves you, love her. on the days she doesn't act like she likes you, just try to be badass but not mean or weird, just calm and collected. What you have to realize is that women don't really know what they want, they have some weird hormones that are totally different from us. Think of it like this: when a woman is "off" (distant, anti-social, mean), she usually wants a protector, protecting is different than comforting, protecting is the proverbal bad ***, distant but collected and calm, not violent but calculated and seductive but at a distance. When she's "on" (lovely and all over you) then it's time for intamacy and sweet romance/comforting and all that good cuddly stuff. A personal note from my own experience is thus: A chick will only be your friend, if you are not enough to protect her. A girlfriend is your friend that you like/love and don't want to get hurt emotionally and physically. Chicks want to do hardcore guys because they know how to assert strength. Oh and most chicks go overboard and forget about the Lovely stuff, if some jerk off screws them over. I call it the reverse ugly duck syndrome.

the only way for you to know is to keep talking to her about it and make it clear that is that what you feel, If worse comes to worse then you will probably need to end it. Something else it can also be that she is scared of getting hurt again by you... just talk to her.

Date others until this goofy gal makes up her mind. Enjoy getting laid and figure you are just "friends with benefits."

Sounds like she's using you for sex. When she doesn't want sex you are dispensable. You tried it once and it didn't work out. I think you should break off with her. Try to get over her. I hope you can.
