I have had this huge crush on my friend since august and i have yet to tell him. I cant ever get him off my mind. Everytime we hang out, which is usually about once a month we start expressing sexual behavior towards one another. we've never done anything except kiss. We hung out a couple nights ago and we almost had sex but he stopped. He;s hesistant to do anything because he got out of a bad relationship over a year ago. He has not dated anybody since then. I asked him why he expresses sexual behavior toward me and he told me that im attractive and he knows that im a good girl and he asked me why i did it and i just told him i thought he was cool. i didnt tell him i liked him. I also asked him why he hasnt dated anyone and he said that he just hasnt met anyone that blew him away yet. oh and Im also the first girl that he has kissed since his bad relationship and that he kinda messed around with. I just dont know if i should tell him or not?

Reminds me of Joey and Dawson from Dawson's Creek a little. Complicated because you don't want to scare him off or make things awkward. Truly, you should tell him what's really going on. That whole truth shall set you free thing...it's the truth, trust me I know. No matter how you two end up, at least it'll be out there and off your chest. If you tell him, just know that things will never be the same and that could be good or bad. If you decide to keep this to yourself, do you really want that lingering over you? It's not healthy emotional...trust me, I've been there. Bottom line, tell him and let me know how it goes...peace out!

After a long relationship, a guy likes to kind of "get back out there." It doesn't necessarily mean his intentions are bad, but he (most guys) needs to assert himself ... get his 'groove' back.

It sounds to me like your friend saw a pretty girl and took his chance to feel good about himself again. Sounds like he was decent enough to at least stop it before someone got hurt though.

What you need to do is decide HOW MUCH you like him. There's a good chance that if you start a relationship with him, he's not going to be looking for long term. If you're okay with that, then you should tell him that you like him, and that you'd like to see him more often, or however you want to phrase it.

The important thing is to let him know that you're not trying to wrap him up in a long term relationship like he just got out of.

Now, I'm not saying you should tell him you're easy and he can be one-and-done ... but let him know that you two can have fun together (hanging out, playing around or even sex) without there being a need to commit to a long term relationship.

If you do that, you should be able to identify what you're feelings for him are, and his for you ...

he probably has an idea because it's obvious that you're letting him kiss you like that. just tell him now before you lose him. you'll never know unless you try.
