First of all, God has the power to do anything. Even if the child does pray, it may not be in His Will for things to stop things right then and there. Sometimes His Will takes time, but eventually He will act. We may not understand why He allows certain things to happen, but we also have to take into consideration that He sees the whole picture (we only see part of the picture and try to make up the rest of it). God knows what's best for his children... we just have to trust that.

Well first do you believe that we all have a set destiny in life and if so then think about this.

If God did intervene god would change that child's destiny and then in turn mess with the whole cosmic plan. Things do happen for a reason and we are meant to meet certain people be put through tests in life this will make us wiser and stronger if we choose to only listen and observe. If a child is abused ,all those people he comes in contact with are touched by him causing a ripple effect like a pebble in the water. So by one persons pain many are touched and in time he will be healed.

If you know of a child being abused, you will be better off enlisting HUMAN help than praying. Why? Because there is no God, and that is why prayers are never answered. Help for hurting children ALWAYS comes from people, not God.

God had and still has the Power to do so. If a child prays some, including myself know He will do His best to comfort all!!

That would be an example of tunnel vision.
Do you know that God did give his own son as a sacrifice to save us all?
And Jesus indeed DID pray to his father.
And how much would you know about the child you are asking about?
Would you know if that particular child -maybe because of having been abused- later on as an adult will save more children from experiencing the same?
Only God knows.
So trust in him.

No the concept of god is that he lives within us.He is not Santa Clause. However if one prays and meditates one might be given the insight necessary to prevent such abuse.

If I had the power, I would send the abuser into eternal oblivion, before it abused the child.

This is almost the same as your other question.
Do you know someone's who's getting abused? Are you ok?? If you're not, speak to a friend. We can't really do much on here, plus there are a lot of people who give smart alec answers...

He could but God doesnt answer all prayer but it's a pretty good chance if ur going through abuse u should tell someone like a teacher or a friend and ask them to help you =]

No. I don't think God would intervene - it would throw off the balance of good and evil on earth that we are doomed to live in. No matter how fervently and desperately the abused child prays. Prayers go unanswered aplenty regularly.
