I don't believe the two are connected.

MPD arises, like the lady said above, early in childhood as a result of trauma or neglect. Dyslexia, in my opinion, arises when a child is "using the wrong dominant hand". There may be other scientific reasons for dyslexia, but I have not read up on it, so I am not qualified to debate genetics, etc.

I just personally know some "right-handed" children who exhibited symptoms of dyslexia, only to have the symptoms completely vanish once they learned how to write with their left hands. It seems that they were supposed to have been left handed, but our society places such a presupposition on right-handedness that each child erroneously began using their right hands for one reason or another.

I just want to add something that I think is interesting. It is possible for one personality to be dyslexic and for another not to be, just like it is possible for one personality to have an illness (a cold, for instance) and for another to be completely healthy.

There is absolutely no connection between dyslexia and multiple personality disorder. Dyslexia is an inherited trait whereas multiple personality disorder is usually due to some form of intense trauma usually encountered in childhood.

No. There is no direct connection between the two. It is probably coincedence when an individual is experiencing both.
