This is the first time I've heard meditation being called 'black magic', and I'm still laughing. May God remove your ignorance and replace it with wisdom.
I can understand your lack of knowledge - it is probably hard to know much from so far away and most religions distort other religions to convert others and retain followers.
Meditation is nothing but sitting in a place all alone and trying to think of nothing at all. Well maybe it is brainwash - it 'washes' your 'brain' of all the dirty thoughts you've been thinking all day/week. hehehe.
Hinduism doesn't need to brainwash anyone. There is such wealth of knowledge and bliss here, that anyone who experiences it gets addicted to it. You will too.You won't need wealth, wine or women to be happy anymore, that is the bliss of hinduism

Hmm, I would like to know what you think is so "black magic" about meditation. Is it simply because it originates from people who are polytheists?
You know, just because a useful tool comes from a religion that doesn't agree with your own doesn't make it bad. And it certainly doesn't make it "black magic" by default. That's just ignorant to assume.
You sound awfully ill-, or un-educated about the subject of meditation to be talking trash about it. Perhaps you should read a book or two before you disagree with it. You might actually (heaven forbid!) find it useful.
You might even find out that you practice meditation without knowing it.

"Meditation" is hardly "Black Magic"! Prayer is a type of meditation, and Christian mystics have been practicing meditation for close to 2,000 years now. "Black Magic" is the use of occult powers for evil and the Hindu's philosophies and beliefs are not evil. Get yourself out of this judgmental mode and embrace the true Christianity you are supposed to be following!

Hindus aren't the only people who meditate. Meditation is form of prayer, so if you pray then you to have fallen "prey" to it.
