It's over, life is over... What was it all for? To work an 8 to 5 job? To pay for a house or a car? I don't think so. Jesus is the only reason we are alive. God gave his Son to die for us, for you, for me, so that we wouldn't perish. That if we just believed in Him we would have EVERLASTING life. I don't know about you but I thank God for His grace and mercies, and that He loved us enough to save us from hell. John 3:16

If I died today, I'd know that I had made a positive difference in the lives of many people around me. I know that I'd be missed. I know that my husband knows I want my organs to be donated so that anyone who can benefit from them may do so. I know that my husband knows that I want to be cremated, so my ashes can be returned to the body of the Earth and help nourish life that comes after me as the Cycle continues.

I *believe* that my spirit will return to the Universe, like a drop of rain returning to the ocean. I *believe* that my spirit will not retain consciousness or coherence, but will become diffuse and dispersed into the overall energy of the Universe. I *believe* that living beings that are created after me will draw their spirits from that Universal Energy, and that some (but not all) of the energy that used to be "me" may be returned into a living form at some point. (I believe this is why different people may have the feeling of having been the same person in a past life).

What was it all for? It was to be the best person that I can be, to make a difference where I can, to find peace and balance within myself, and to honor the God and Goddess and Their creations as best as I can.

My body would be put into the earth in as biodegradable a form as possible. My family and friends would be sad, but me.....

I will go and visit those who have passed before me and then God, whoever he/she/it is will come to me and will tell me the punchline. I know I'll get it once I hear it, and we'll have a nice long laugh at everyone else's expense.

What would happen to me? My body would be buried near my mother. I would leave behind a husband, family, and friends who loved me.

As for any kind of an afterlife: I don't know (and neither do you). I believe my sould will return to Hashem, as it was before birth. Apparently, your beliefs differ. I believe in neither heaven, nor hell.

The idea of hell makes NO sense to me.. that a loving god would send the majority of humanity to such a place tells me that that god isn't so "loving" after all.

I will ignore your preaching and just answer your question. If I were to die today, My spirit guides would have a meeting with me and we would go over this life and see if I learned all the lessons I was meant to learn, if so, we would decide if I reincarnate, what lesson I need to learn in that life and if I had no reason to live further lives, I could decide to go on to the Summer land or be a spirit guide myself.

Is that the only source of comfort you have? The idea of Jesus the lamb and how we are all going to another plain of existence when we die.

Listen I do not know if the afterlife exists but when I die I will die knowing I did what I wanted and believed what I believed to the best of my ability,
I will not thank what I do not know exists, thats like thanking Santa for presents,Childish.

Did you get this idea of jesus on your own or did you read about it somewhere? Sounds familiar. I'm sure you can prove that is what we are here for so I will have no doubt. You would never try to frighten me into believing something that isn't true, would you?

I would go to the spirit world, to await the judgement day and the resurrection. After which I would get my eternal reward.

Amen. If I died today, I would be in heaven. Bless you. I wish there was more postings like this one. But beware, a lot of people are going to bash you. But don't worry. We have Jesus. He is my best friend. It makes me mad when people make fun of him. I hope they will open their hearts and let Jesus in before it is too late. They won't be making jokes when they are burning and I don't want that for them.
