Yes. Microwave steamed veggies are a good source of nutrition...not as good as raw, but many people have a hard time digesting raw vegetables properly.

Don't cook veggies in too much water or on too high of heat...the water is where all the nutrients end up (and we all know that gets thrown away), and high heat depletes the nutritional value as well.

The new microwave steamed veggie pouches they're coming out with are a good way to get your veggie supply.

I was advised by a professional dietician that steaming vegetables does not significantly effect the nutritional value. I prefer my veggies steamed compared to raw. I use the tupperware microwave steamer for convenience

It is, but raw is your best bet if you want nutrition. Heat kills the nutrients.
