Can you give your best discriptive taste difference between the two beers and why you choose one over the other/ if either?

Since Bud is brewed with rice in addition to barley it has a lighter
color and lighter body. If you poured the 2 side by side, you would notice the difference. Also, Heineken would have a thicker, creamier head than Bud. Next, smell them. Heineken should have a much more pungent hop aroma than Bud. Then taste (Bud first since it is lighter). You will notice that Bud has a clean,
crisp palate without that much bitterness but feels a bit watery.
Heineken will have a fuller mouthfeel, a pleasing bitterness
and finish clean with a pleasant malty aftertaste.
I prefer Heineken over Bud since it has fuller body,
+ more malt flavor and hop presence

Although Budweiser has the bigger market worldwide in sales and distribution, the comparison between the 2 beers stops with the hops. Heineken's hops are more flavorful and tastefully friendly. Real beer folks know this and that's what separates the 2. But give me a Sammy anyday!!!!

Heineken is watery. but it is very lite and if your thirsty there is little that comes close. Budweiser is kind of sweet, but I like that. I choose Bud. Its all a matter of personal preference. By the way light versions of any beer sucks!

Budweiser is full high school kids. Heineken for grown-ups.

the bud is a really soft beer. it tastes really soft compared to the heineken wich feels stronger. Depends on your taste, but i prefer the heineken, it feels more like a real beer

Heineken doesn't have the quality necessary for chugging or funneling, so I prefer Budweiser, as it goes down easier and quicker.

Budweiser tastes like what it's made of -- rice and corn, i.e. fillers. Nasty. It has a sour, skunky smell and flavor.
Heineken isn't brilliant, certainly (although it's very pleasant on tap), but it's made with a European quality standard. It's mild, light, and easy to drink.

Don't judge quality on distribution. If you were to Mad Dog 20/20 is better than Dom.
As far as these two it comes down to quality of ingredients. While neither is my preference Bud is aweful.
