Was he flirting or was he being serious?

If a guy tells you that he forgot your name,and he gets something that belongs to you and hands it to you,and it has your name on it,does that mean he was flirting?

there is a small chance that he is stupid...I mean, would you really want to interact with someone who is completely unperceptive?...and if he really liked you he would have been all over that thingy with your name on it...~515~
