Just be honest with her and let her know how you feel. But the main thing is be her friend.

Dont worry about hurting her feelings. You need to upset her so she gets over you. Tell her straight up that you think she might like you more than just a friend but you are straight and will never be with her that way. Make it clear or else she may feel like you are leading her on.

Then be a friend and talk to her plain and clear. Let her know that you care about her (whatever way that is), and that you are there for her in all the right situations, but she needs to respect you as a person and that you are straight, but that doesn't change your feelings. However, I do wonder if maybe you are reading more into it then it really is? Stop and think first!

This happend to one of my friends with another friend who came to me for advice. Here it is.

She cares about you one way or another, it may not be the way u want but if she cares romanticly then she cares as a friend too. Sit her down to be straight forward with her. Tell her you just want to be friends. If she takes it the wrong way tell her you're straight but will try to hook her up with someone. Im sure she'll understand just be straight forward, no small talk.

I have been in this situation. I just let her know that nothing would ever happien between us. She did not have the "equipment" to keep me satisfied that I was only interested in men. Mostly it was said joking and she understood. We are still freind after 4 years. She has not came on to me in 3.

BE BLUNT.
If you try to be subtle about it people who have feelings for others seem to have a habit of misenterpretting responses. Be kind just don't hide anything.

Just tell her you are flattered, but you are straight. Most les, bi and gays will respect that. But if you want to try it ... you might be missing something.

She's Bi-Sexual. Plenty of `em are. Just aren't aware of it. Be her Friend. Forget about the Sexual Preference.

What would you do in this situation if it were a male friend? Just be truthful.

You should probably get over yourself. I doubt if she's hitting on you if she knows you're straight.
