God does have the power to stop child abuse and molestation. God is almighty, everything he does has a purpose. Satan gets ahold of these people and they let him run their lives. What people need to his bind satan in the name of Jesus. God allows satan to get a stronghold on these people for a reason. Its a test, kind of like Jonah and the test God gave him. If people would turn to Jesus at all times and not just when they are in pain or despair, life would be better. People need to be a lighthouse to these child molestors and abusers, they may have done wrong, but they are still God's children and deserve a chance at salvation.Basically God allows Satan to have a stronghold over these people so people will turn to him not just in the bad times but also in the good. For he the God of the mountain, and the God of the valley.

He does have the power. Hard as it is to say this, but even child abusers and molesters are human. They have souls too. They may have committed horrible sins, but they can repent and change, with God's help.

I wish we had a God who would stop all bad things. Right now! He doesn't and I honestly don't know why. But it's not for me to question Him. God says in the bible that he will show mercy to whom he chooses. That's His right as the Creator. I'm sure He does stop more than we may realize.
But the bible says that at the end of the age, God will remove the Holy Spirit from this world and allow satan full rein. It's gonna get worse. I guess that's why we Christians are so caught up in this salvation thing. We don't want you to go through what we know is coming. God doesn't either. That's why He commands us to preach the gospel. Not to tick you off, but to open your eyes.

GOD has the power - and may have saved quite a few children already. GOD does amazing things every second. Humans do also.
Adults need to know more about the children in their life, to be there if needed, by children that feel safe with them.
GOD put adults in children lives for protection in crisis, I hope all adults understand this.

does god not already have the power to stop child abuse and molestation. god has the power to stop many things such as that but he doesnt for that fact that we are here to make our own choices and face the punishment for them. its sad to think of even though someone innocent is being harmed but that is what i believe.

This is the same as your other questions. He has the power, but if he used the power, it would be as if we didn't have free will. We would all be robots of God.
