I have been diagnosed with fallen metatarsil arches and have been seeing a very good pedorthist over the past year. I wear a very good walking shoe and metarsil bars. But I still get VERY sore feet after a busy day at work. I am in Security and sometimes am required to do a lot of walking. I've tried diclofinac cream but it didn't help.I have found that drugs create unwanted side effects (upset stomach, mainly) . Any ideas? Thanks!

I'll bet they do...most drugs that are for anti-inflammatory purposes, have the problem of upsetting the stomach. As for relief, good old hot foot baths with epsom salts every night. ALso take an old fashioned coke bottle (or somting similar) and put it on the floor...put you foot on in and roll back and forth . THis helps to stretch those tendons under the foot. Having to be on your feet is a problem for your employment as well as educators and those of us in the medical profession. As the saying goes, "Been there, done that."

i also have severe issues with my feet...i was born with extra bones in the joints of my big toes and the little extra bones are the first spot of impact when i walk...Ive tried many different approaches and what seems to do the best for me is when i wake up i rub sportscream (about 6$) on the sore spots than immediately put my socks and shoes on then in the evening i sit on the side of the tub (doesn't help much if you have to stand) and soak them for about 15 minutes with bath salts then dry them...it isn't much relief during the day make it makes it bareable at night...
