My point exactly. Jesus said the criminal next to him on the cross would be in Paradise that very day.
Get it? Paradise; not Heaven. Planet Little Para, not Planet H (heaven).
Little Para is a place where you are judged by your willingness to have your criminality mutated out of your psyche. It is a free will choice. If you choose not to have your criminality removed you will still have eternal life but not with the harmony-loving folks in Heaven. You will be sent to Planet HD, actually a place just as nice as Heaven, but full of other folks who have chosen disharmony instead of Harmony. (You might say that would be a living Hell. But it is your choice.)

No, one cannot just say, save me Lord and be saved. One must believe on the Lord. If a rapist or murderer were to happen to truly feel repentence at the last minute before death, and confess to Jesus that he needs Him, than he would be saved. One cannot just say, oh I believe now at the last minute without the belief being in their heart, just to save thier butt. It doesn't work that way.
Edit: It's not about just asking the Lord into your heart, but meaning it. Besides that God says that ALL sins are equal except for Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit which is the unforgiveable sin. All others are equal.

Try very hard to be contentious. First as you well should know faith is not built up in a millisecond before death either a man knows God and is changed or he does not. if I were you judging from your question I would be much more concerned with my own salvation than that of a freewheeling sinner. There will be no sinful flesh in heaven. Who God judges should not be your concern unless it is your unrighteousness being judged in which case you might get to know these colorful characters very well.

This sounds like a remark stating that forgiveness is a free ticket to heaven, but in the meantime we can do what we want and get away with it. Not true.
The repentence must be sincere, and Jesus knows.

God is not mocked. As you sow,so shall you reap. One can not just say I believe in Christ to avoid hell. There has to be a sincere change of heart. Some people's hearts are just too hardened to make that kind of sincere claim to Christ. Jesus will forgive all sins, but you must be honest with Him or you are just mocking God.

If it is true repentance then it is a total heart change. In heaven there will be no temptation or sin.

you're not forgiven until you change. those are huge crimes and forgiveness is not as easy as you think but there is always time to change your life if you truly regret. if someone still had that kind of character, he wouldn't be in heaven

To be absent from this body is to be present with the lord. once there it is not our job to judge. it's God's. in Luke it say's there is a gulf. those that have made it on one side, those who didn't on the other. and you wait on one side or the other until judgment. once judged, those who do not make it, will no longer exist.

Jerse, excuse me for saying this, but, do you have any idea how much you have sinned in life?
What makes you think you would be any more deserving of forgiveness?

That's exactly why (if heaven were real) I'd much rather go to hell if I had a choice.
