i live in georgia and just recently tried to contact an old friend.When i got the bad news that he is serving a 20 year sentence.so i just wanted to know where i have to look to find that out because noone answers the dame phones here.

Most prisons have there own web sites thru the state dept. of corrections (google: georgia department of corrections) and see if you find it. They should have what can be mailed and what cannot be mailed. If not, it should have alternative administrative phone numbers you can call. Good luck !

Hello, I would look up the GA State corrections system website and that infomation should be contained there. Most states also have online offender look up so you can find out what institution he is in. Here is the website... http://www.dcor.state.ga.us/ . Good luck...
