No he has no power. Not even to stop the extermination of his own chosen people.

God is not the cause of genocide, humans are responsible. God does have the power to stop all suffering but in His own due time. We must be patience and relay on God for strength to endure trials.

Why does man allow genocide? Does he have the power to stop it?

Genocide is not a disproof of God. It is a real and tangible proof of evil in this world. If you expect God to do everything for you in this life, you are going to be very disappointed.

Oh I asked a similar question earlier tonight. Apparantly, it's an example of those committing the atrocities exercising their free will. It also appears to be the victims exercise of free will by not converting to whatever will save them from being killed. Those are the answers I got, anyway. Really, it just comes down to humans being overbearing @ssholes who can't reach a compromise without violence.

Isn't it strange how everyone wan'ts to involve God when something goes wrong? Genocide is not a matter involving God, its the result of man without God.

Yes little penguin, God can do anything at any time. In the same kind of response I made to your other question about poverty, the world looks the way it does because man is running it right now. Pretty sad shape. God will step in, in His timing, and all these things you are asking about will be no more.

Yes, He can.
As weird as it may sound of me saying this, God allows our sin as an act of mercy. He uses it to teach us to follow Him. He uses it to teach the greater good. God could stop all sin right now if He wanted to; it would mean our destruction. God doesn't do this because He loves us and wants to give each of us the chance to change and follow Him.

If God intervened in every human catastrophe then wouldn't you consider our life here on earth similiar to that of a puppet. God lets us make our own choices. Prayer is the only answer.

All answers you get from theists, upon close examination, will be irrational. That is the trademark of attempting to justify an erroneous premise, in this case, the existence of god.
