Okay, to start off, i know that the only way to lose weight is diet and excersize. LEt me explain my situation. A while ago, i dieted a bunch and did the right things, and lost weight. I had a surgery recently, and can't excersize for another 3 weeks. I gained some weight (not a ton, but about 5) and I', already overweight. I need to drop down another 20 to 25 lbs, but whenever i decide that ive had enough to eat, i EAT MORE. It's like i have no more discipline. I need motivation, and i need tips on how to eat less and eat things with lower calories. I just need something to work. I need some advice on how to start losing weight without excersizingfor about 3 weeks, and how from after 3 weeks to actually burn it all off. Please? Thanks.

HERE ARE SOME TIPS TO STAY HEALTHY & LOOSE WEIGHT:
Drink lots of water, at least 8 - 10 glasses daily.
Prefer eating fresh fruits and vegetables to stored or canned ones as they lose some nutrients during storage !
Avoid eating junk food like noodles, pizzas, wafers sweets, icecreams, soft drinks etc. as they lack minerals and proteins and hence add to body weight.

Think of your body as a machine. Feed it what's good for it. Use your calories wisely: no junk food. If it doesn't have nutritional value- lose it from your diet. You can exercise lying or sitting down. Build muscle by exercising the areas you can. I don't know what kind of surgery you had, but if some part of you moves well and safely, move it. The hardest thing is to be motivated: so decide what you love more- yourself or eating. use the food for fuel, stop eating empty calories. You can do it! Good luck!!!

The best weight loss is done sensibly and gradually, at a rate of no more than 2 lbs a week. Ignore the glossies on the rack at the grocery store, consult a dietician and get the real story one on one. There is a formula (I found in one of my mom's health books) for burning fat and having used it, I can personally vouch for its effectiveness. 220 - your age = your maximum heart rate per minute Exercise to maintain 60-85% of your maximum heart rate for at least 20 minutes, 3-5 times a week. I just used the bottom step of my basement stairs as a StairMaster and listened to music that helped me keep up that pace. It's a good workout, after 10 minutes, you will be sweating but you're never really panting for breath. And the endorphin rush at the end is really nice too. :) After just 3 weeks you'll start to see results that encourage you to keep it up. Switch up the tunes so they don't get stale.

well i think u should set a goal in ur mind that yes i have to lose this much weight then measure ur waist and all and write it on a piece of paper along with ur desired measurements. Then stop eating fatty foods..specially chocolates and fried food(theyll never let u achieve what u want).
Drink lots of water and hot water after ur meals. Do yoga regularly and eat vegetables..control on ur bread/maida intake cos they are another cause for weight gain.
make a regime and stick to it..if u have a habit to eat in the evenings and in the middle of days..well try not to.. have 3 proper meals..keep urself busy and try not to think about food.
best of luck!

In the mood for the hot meal? Make a large pot of veggie bean soups, divide into two-cup containers, and store in the freezer. Before bed, place a container within the fridge, then grab it before heading out the door every day.
