God allows poverty because money is not necessary for someone to live a good life and be spiritually satisfied. What is required is that a person work to fill their belly. Hard work is the only thing that eliminates poverty.

God helps people who help themselves, It's not God that allows poverty it's people who allow poverty.Think of the billions of dollars in unused money in the government that could be used to help the poor. Or think of this why is it that the government will give money to a third world country to help the poor there but wont donate to the poor people and war vets right here in the US. Why is it that people or so quick to blame God every time something doesn't go according to their plan(that's a better question)

God doesn't allow anything but to let us decide our own paths, however, if the person decides to get themselves out of poverty the universe will usually provide.

Poverty belongs in Satan's kingdom along with sickness.. Not saying that you have to be rich, but true poverty is of the devil.

Because he does want he wants. Hes God! He isn't going to just stop poverty becasue some people are complaining about it. We need poverty. What would us rich people do without poverty? Think about that.

For the same reason there is sickness, disease, death, abuse, violence, and all the terrible things that are happening on this planet. It is a result of the fallen world we live in.
God's spirit will not always strive with men. One day Jesus Christ will return, and put all things right. At the moment, even as terrible as things are, people still have the opportunity to be saved by calling on Jesus name. There will be a day when that opportunity will be no more.

As in the days of Jesus there have always been poor people on earth, and in most cases they are more blessed than rich people.Being rich is not necessarily a blessing.
