ok, do you have WINZIP / WINRAR installed ?

i hope this works, as i played around looking at the files in the installer when i noticed i could open it in winrar/winzip:

IE7-WindowsXP-x86-enu.exe

Right Click - Drag - Release, > Winzip > Extract to folder

wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe

Right Click - Drag - Release, > Winzip > Extract to folder

inside are the executables and other files that make up the setup file, so , it is possible to access the files without installing which asks you to validate

as inside the folders are iexplore.exe and wmplayer.exe, just run those from the folders.

else look for alternate browsers, http://www.firefox.com/
and a media player, http://www.cccp-project.net/ lets you play anything and packages a light weight low resource player called mpc.

Well if Xp is not gen then I am afraid you cant install it,the computer world is working on it an dI am sur esomeone will crcak it.
Buy the way I'whould lik eto draw ur attention to the fact in one of the answers i saw registry hacking! For ur kind notice it cannot be done now! After you have Sp2 the regkey in LOCAL_MACHINE IS CHANGED to a 128 bit encryption which does'nt leave a signature ! so in that case you cant change the key from there! I think so people are living 3 years back(no offense)!
I recommend you to download Firefox/opera it has all even more features you can ask for than in IE7 .
For media player i'll reccomend Evil player/VLC player ,it's light easy and supports almost every format out there!!

If your Win XP is not genuine, then there is no way you could load IE 7 or WMP 11. Try to get an original OS or look for something else like Mozilla or something.

IT won't happen if your xp is not genuine. and same goes for win. media player11. your best i would highly highly recommend a different browser such as opera or mozilla you won't be dissapointed. in fact these two are so mainstream using iexplorer today with all it's security flaws seem so stoneage! (who uses ie any more today?) but if you just have to have the ie feel then get slimbrowser it has ie engine, making it feel work like it but it gives you more inbuilt security and a load of features like a modern browser should. infact it easily downloads any updates from microsoft site without a prob.

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

here's a trick i'ld like to share with you. for purpose of getting updates and support from Microsoft without having to give them your private
data (name, email, phone, ...), issued by microsoft you can trick xp into thinking it's registered (and nah it won't take care of the genuine prob)BTW this is not blocking

are not getting IE7. IE6 is worlds extra useful. IE7 isn't customizable and is complete of mistakes. in case you quite opt for tabbed surfing and stupid such issues as that then bypass intof equipment>internet concepts and upload the receive website onto your relied on internet sites record. If that doesn't artwork substitute your internet settings on your relied on internet sites to allow downloads.
