The Bible doesn't encourage anyone to persecute others. If you can not understand the Bible then go to ttb.org and listen to a good Bible teacher. It is advisable for all people to read the Bible with the understanding of the Holy Spirit. God can help you get over yourself and think of the welfare of others.

I believe it advisable for everyone to read the Bible. If God wills it (which he usually does) He'll open the person's eyes to reality. And then we Christians can all say "WoOt wOoT! Another in the family!"
And persons thinking persecuting people is right has already happened. You read that Bible and it'll tell you what'll happen to the world.

It is advisable for everyone to read the Bible.
But most will have no understanding of Gods Holy Word.
You must have Jesus in your heart, and the Holy Ghost as your teacher.<><

Only those with the Holy Spirit can understand the Scripture.
" For the natural man receives NOT the things of the Spirirt of God , for they are foolishness unto him, neither can he know them, for they are spiritually discerned" - I Corin. 2:14

Everyone should read the Bible and get 3 things out of it
1) God is love (so he sent Jesus) and Holy (He cannot just ignore sin and sin needed payment)
2) Jesus died for our sins and if we believe AND FOLLOW HIM we can be saved.
3) Jesus said "Do onto others as you WOULD HAVE THEM do onto you"... not what they do to you!

Generally, highly opinionated people are always mouthing off, so they don't absorb much of other people's thoughts.
