As in is there a time that it is too late to eat. Now I know u shouldn't eat right before going to sleep. Does anyone have any certain rules they go by?

I know to eat when im hungry (duh). When I changed my lifestyle I started eating more and exercising to speed my metabolism. I eat prob five times a day. Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, and dinner, maybe fruit after. I have heard many ppl say 6 or 7pm is a good time bc you are still active afterwards.

You should breakfast like a king (eat heavy), lunch like a citizen (moderate) and dine like a pauper (the least).

Dinner comprising salads and fruits is the best. You should avoid drinking water about half hour before and after meals, to ensure that digestive juices are not diluted and digestion is most efficient. Also, you should not sleep, bathe or exercise immediately after meals - leave atleast half hour gap, preferably an hour.

You shouldn't eat after 6 pm if you go to sleep by 10 pm. You need time for your food to digest and that takes about 2 or 3 hours.

I eat when I am hungry and stop when I feel full. But it is not so wise to eat and go to bed. Your body needs time to digest and you should walk around or do something to help eat up some of the calories.

According to Oprah and Bob Greene (Oprah's diet and fitness guy), it is best to stop eating at least 2 hours before going to bed for the night. I've heard Oprah say this several times on her shows.

yes the best time not to take any food is take only two times meals .one at 9 am and other at 9 pm . if we can make a habit of such then we can save lot of foods for the poverty sticken people and serve them better for allievation of poverty in this planet.let us pledge not to take any food from 9 am to 9 pm and make it a slogan .offcourse during sleep no body takes any food

The rule that I go by is not to eat three hours before you go to bed.

Eat when you're hungry. When you're body tells you that you need food, you need to eat. It doesn't always have to be a large meal. You should never deprive your body of food when it needs it.

you should not eat just efore bedtime because the osy is still trying to digest what you ate...if you do this often...you'll notice that you'll gain weight..there are no certain rules..for me
