This is a website to research any extension. :) But here is the answer to your specific question. What software can you use? Try: http://www.poweriso.com/
I haven't tried it but a DVD authoring package may recognize the file.

Extension: DAA
Program and/or Extension Function [What's This?] Company [What's This?]
PowerISO Direct-Access-Archive PowerISO Computing, Inc.
Specific Notes [What's This?]
PowerISO is a CD/DVD image file processing tool, which allows you to open, extract, create, edit, compress, encrypt, split and convert ISO files, and mount these files with internal virtual drive. It can process almost all CD-ROM image files including ISO and BIN. DAA is a format for an image file, which supports some advanced features, such as compression, password protection, and splitting to multiple volumes (similar to .RAR and other compression formats).

DAA is a mix of ZIP and ISO disk photographs regrettably, the only software that handles DAA archives is PowerISO, which expenses money. Howevr, i'm guessing that if u downloaded a DAA, attempt finding for PowerISO on the comparable place, and you will detect a crack solid luck, cracks are undesirable =D
