You may not be a witch, but I am (and happily claim the label). And NO, cursing is NOT "a good thing to do to someone who teased a person".

Cursing is not a "good" thing to do, period. It's a serious choice, and a decision not to be made lightly. If it is done, it's something that's done only after much thought and consideration, as well as acceptance of and preparation for the repercussions it will have upon the spellcaster. There would have to be a REAL good reason for me to consider casting a curse on someone - we're talking life-threatening.

To me, screwing with someone else's free will is a huge, huge ethical no-no.

Not unless it's worth suffering 3 times what you cursed them with. I AM a witch and usually I just brush insults off or insult the person back.

no dont do that it is a bad way to get things done i am a wiccan and the first rule to magic is "harm ye none do what ye will"
that is the begining of the wiccan rede and it is good in every day life. black magic is the way for evil in to your life never let evil in and always cast it out try some breathing exercises the meditate when you get home you will feel better

If that's your justification for using curses, then you should probably not.

I don't use the rule of 3 [I do not fear Karma], and I am not above hexes, but think of it as starting a fight, and you have a gun. Is it justified?

After 3 days is it still justified?

If both are yes, then sure. But teasing is weak.

It may not be good necessarily, but it's not bad either. If my sister was getting beat up, I would jump right in and help her out regardless of the so-called Karma for kicking someone else's hiney.

For one, it's black magic and will come back on you times three.

For two, I wouldn't take Communion if someone was mean to me, why would you want to dabble in someone else's' religion to get rid of your problems? Not to be rude, just saying. Besides, you shouldn't mess with magic if you don't know what you're doing.

Seems like an awful waste of energy, unless it's an ongoing harrassment kind of thing.

I think Wiccans aren't supposed to cast spells to hurt others... I don't know for sure but I think I heard it somewhere.
