I'm not so sure global warming consumes fossil fuels.
consumption of fossil fuels = cause
global warming = effect.

Nuclear power should play a very big part until an efficient, economic alternative is available.

France generates 78% of its electricity from nuclear while the US only about 20%. If we even come close to matching the 78%, the reduction would be extremely large. That would be about the same as every household and industry reducing their power use by well over 1/2.

It is the burning of fossil fuels that causes global warming. So to end golbal warming we must reduce our use of fssil fuels

With current technology, solar, wind and waves could be used more but since fossil fuel is so handy, greed must be taken out of the picture.

Nothing use 'em all up. Global warming is nonsense. Just an appeal to human vanity when we're basically just going through a natural effect of milankovitch cycles.
