There is a big misconception about what information can be accessed through the Internet. Having worked for a major defense contractor, I can tell you that computer systems that store or process classified information are expressly forbidden from having an Internet connection. Experts periodically audit these installations to ensure that security has not been compromised.

To give you an idea of some of the measures taken, every effort is made to keep the classified computer system with all its peripherals within one room, which is secured with a special lock. But sometimes it is necessary for some of the equipment to be located elsewhere. In this case, the interface cables are run from room to room inside a heavy-duty metal conduit that is mounted in plain sight in the hallway. This prevents a concealed tap from being placed on any of the cables.

You will not find a PC for classified use that is also used for reading e-mail.

That is not to say that violations never occur, but the penalties are severe, and any company desiring to do business with the Department of Defense has to aggressively maintain the integrity of their secure computing systems.

You may find files on the Internet that are represented as being classified, but you have no way to establish their veracity. In all probability the data is misinformation, put there by some scoundrel for his own purposes.

It's mean that people are calling you an idiot, I think that you asked a good question. I don't know where exactly you can find "x files", but if you look around there are many people that give documented accounts about encounters with the paranormal. If you look around, then I'm sure that you can find lot's of those kinds of cases on the internet.

Yes, and no. You can find a lot of "stuff" out there, but how do you really know if it's authentic.

If you're asking how can I hack into the CIA database - well that's out of my league - but there are those who can do it.

Better use an internet cafe (a fake ID and fake free account too) if you do though, because they'll know almost the second you get in, and zero in on you within minutes, so if you try this go in fast, get out fast, and get lost fast!
