An idol is ANYTHING that becomes more important to you than the God in heaven who created you.
This means that your hijab, your prayer rug, your call to prayer, your eating of certain foods and the not eating of others, your ritual sacrifices, suicide bombers, pilgrimages and cleansings, etc.... these are all things that your people have placed as a higher level of importance than the actual god that you say you serve.
Should Abraham destroy those things while he is destroying the Mary statues?

there is this traditional legend that as a boy, abraham's father terah owned a store selling statues of gods, and left abraham in charge while he went out for a while. when he came back, all of the statues except one was broken, and his father was upset and demanded to know what had happened. abraham told his father that the idol that was still intact had attacked the others and broke them, and terah replied "but they are just statues! that can't do anything!" and abraham was like, "damn straight, that's my point." well thats not EXACTLY what he said, but thats the gist of it.

Abraham knew Jesus and rejoiced to see his day. The Abraham that Muhammed taught did not exist neither did the Moses or the Jesus of Islam Allah is not God. You have only the words of a single admitted sinful man read what the true prophets of God said. Does it not bother you that you have only the word of one sinful man as to what to believe? All truth comes only through Muhammed. God can not speak to you through any other source and being as Muhammed is dead Allah is speechless...You have to wonder who you are worshipping when all you have for truth is the word of one sinful man?

No I will not turn against him as God is in my heart. No matter how many statues he breaks will not diminish my faith in the one and only God I believe in.
People who do harm to others will be punished, whatsmore of those who do harm to God and his children.
