there is this guy named Jacob in my school...and he is like really hot!!!!!!!! but he is like my best friend! but he doesnt know that i like him as WAY more than a friend! and i really want to ask him out, but i dont want to ruin our friendship. but he likes this girl named hannah... who is like TOTALLY pretty, but im not nearly as pretty as her! and i dont know what to do! all of my friends totally bug me about him, and its kind of embarrising! but if i do something, what if everybody, includng Jacob, thinks im like totall desperate! i dont know what to do! HELP ME!!!!!!!!!

You know that type of person who you look at and isn't that attractive, but as soon as you get to know them a little, they become very attractive because of their personality...? Shoot for that. As far as your looks, work with what you have

Get more self-confidence, everyone can be gorgeous in their own way...you just have to try different ways to make your outter beauty more beautiful.
Another thing, I'd let him like Hannah (if he can even get her) and see if there aren't any bigger fish out there in the sea for you. If he doesn't like you, not only could you ruin the friendship, but he might not talk to you or act strange around you because he feels weirded out.
If he thinks you're just desperate for love, he's not worth it.

Beauty isn't everything. Making yourself up might not help at all and I believe (as corny as it sounds) that all women are beautiful and that looks shouldn't be the most important thing. Maybe ask him hypopheitcally what would happen if one of his friends admitted to liking him if you want to find out what his reaction might be....good luck!

ok first of all saying that your not nearly as pretty as her is a sad thing to say. Whether she is or isnt should not be an issue. be confident...maybe jacob isnt into girls only for their looks. keep your head up
